anza borrego hot springs Hiking "The Slot", Anza Borrego Desert State Park, California - Part I

We recently stayed at Anza Borrego Desert State Park in Southern California for a few days. This hike through "The Slot" was our favorite.

It's a very narrow canyon (sometimes we could just barely squeeze through) and a pretty short easy hike (about 1.5 miles round trip).

The kids had a blast climbing through the canyon and over rocks. Great place to visit.
